Scary sounds with Thunder Tube

Remo Percussion Product Thunder Tube
I just finished a part time job as a fright actor in a haunted house. I was working at Fright Fest at the Silverton Casino in Las Vegas. Most of the nights I worked in the 3d Crypt house which had black lights and 3d glasses that made the colors project from the walls and our painted faces. I used a percussion device made by Remo called the thunder tube. With this instrument that is used to create a thunder sound, I was able to create a variety of sounds that I used to scare the people going through the haunted house. The thunder tube is made with a cardboard tube with a drum head type material on one end with a metal spring attached to the middle of the drum head material. By using my fingernail along the spring in various ways, I created some really screeching creepy sounds, and I was freaking everyone out because they had no idea how I was making these sounds. So thanks to Remo and my imagination I didn't have to use my voice to scream. I used the thunder tube and scared a lot of people.
